About the Speaker
Dr. Tran Van Duc is a lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His research focuses on urban structure and spatial organization, urban formation and historical development, and emerging approaches to green, sustainable, and ecological urban development. His research interests also encompass sustainable architecture, ageing-in-place, age-friendly residential environments, and housing design for older adults and multigenerational families. His current work explores the relationships between urban and residential spatial structures, environmental sustainability, and demographic change, with particular attention to inclusive, adaptable, and sustainable living environments in the Vietnamese urban context.
