About the Speaker
My name is Nguyen Huy Hoang Nam, and I am a lecturer specializing in civil law at Hanoi Law University. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary legal research that addresses emerging issues arising from the digital economy and the evolution of modern civil law. Accordingly, my research focuses on property law, with particular emphasis on novel asset categories, including digital, virtual, and crypto assets, as well as contract law, especially electronic contracts and smart contracts. I have a strong command of legal English and a basic proficiency in everyday Japanese. Throughout my academic career, I have participated in approximately thirty scholarly publications, both as a sole author and a co-author, including monographs, reference books, conference papers, and journal articles.
